Oil Painting in Northern Spain
Come to the mountains of northern Spain for six days of oil painting with Daud Akhriev — an artist of international standing, trained in the Russian Academic tradition. Working from two live models across the week — one in the garden, one indoors — you'll study color, light, and shadow through methods that have been refined over centuries. Afternoons move outside for landscape work, with personal critique and guidance from Daud throughout. There are just seven places. The pace is unhurried. The setting is Senda d'Arte.
